1. Lapatta

The makers have marketed ‘Lapatta’ with a very smart approach. It’s been over a month since the teasers and promos started to pour in. One after the other, the drama serial has kept us intrigued for various reasons. The electrifying chemistry between Sarah Khan and Ali Rehman. They both hail from different backgrounds; Sarah plays an athlete while Ali is a typical gali ga awara (goon) who is either gambling around or beating innocent people. It would be exciting to see the fate of this love story. Ayeza Khan on the other hand had already disclosed that she plays an aspiring TikToker ‘Gaiti’ via her different looks. She is bubbly and fun-loving but that isn’t it. There are dark shades of hues in the narrative. Gohar Rasheed’s character hasn’t been revealed much. Summing up the entire factors ‘Lapatta’ will surely be an interesting watch. It will air from 28th July, every Wednesday and Thursday at 8:00 p.m.
2. Hum Kaha Ke Sachay Thay

Cast: Mahira Khan, Kubra Khan, Usman Mukhtar and Zainab Qayyum
A solid ensemble cast is a fuel that powers this play. The queen Mahira Khan returns to television after six years; this itself is a phenomenal treat for the viewers. Moreover, powerhouse performers Kubra Khan and Usman Mukhtar make a terrific trio. Mixing this brew to the fullest is director Farooq Rind, fresh from the phenomenal success of Ishq Zahe Naseeb. The promo depicts that he is interested in exploring the darkness and insecurities that reside within the hearts of ordinary people. Hum Kaha Ke Sachay Thay is all set to start on 1st August, every Sunday at 8:00 pm.
3. Ishq-e-Laa
Director: Amin Iqbal
Writer: Qaiser Hayat
Cast: Azaan Sami Khan, Sajal Aly and Yumna Zaidi Two great actresses of this generation Yumna Zaidi and Sajal Aly pair up once again for Ishq-e-Laa. For the unversed, Zaidi and Aly have worked together in PTV’s ‘Kis Se Kahoon’ (The Untold Story) way back in 2014. The love triangle is directed by Amin Iqbal of (Deedan and Dushman-e-Jaan fame). It marks the acting debut of Azaan Sami Khan. Written by Qaisera Hayat, the play also features Sohail Sameer, Uzma Hassan, Usman Pirzaada and Simi Raheel in important roles. The makers have kept things under wrap, some of the BTS from the sets are enough for fans to be excited. The play is being shot at the beautiful locations up north, and Islamabad. The teasers will be released soon.
4. Qissa Meherbano Ka

Cast: Mawra Hocane, Ahsan Khan, Mashal Khan and Zaviyar Naumaan Ejaz
After the astounding success of ‘Sabaat’ Mawra Hocane is back in another tutorial role. The drama was in the news when Hocane shared an all dolled-up look as the mayun bride. Basking in the glory of his recent success ‘Qayamat’ Ahsan Khan has a pivotal role. It is written by Fakhra Jabeen and directed by Iqbal Hussain of (Zebaish and Nazre Bad’s) fame. Another highlight of the project is the acting debut of heartthrob Zaviyar Ejaz who is the son of veteran actor Naumaan Ejaz.
5. Dobaara

Cast: Hadiqa Kaini, Bilal Abbas Khan, Usama Khan, Nabeel Zuberi and Sakina Samo
After the astounding success of Raqeeb Se, Hadiqa Kiani is all set to surprise us Dobaara alongside Bilal Abbas Khan. The powerful combo of the writer Sarwat Nazeer and director Danish Nawaz reunite after ‘Khaas’. It would be interesting to see an ensemble cast together. The release date is yet to be announced, meanwhile, a picture circulating on the internet from the sets of Dobaara is making us excited.
