It is 7th Sky Entertainment’s new drama serial called Munafiq that is aired on GEO TV starting from 27th January 2020 (Monday-Friday) at 7PM on GEOTV.
Drama serial Munafiq is produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi. It is written by Huma Hina Nafees and is directed by Saleem Ghanchi. The main leads of the drama serial include Mariyam Nafees, Adeel Chaudary and Fatima Effendi among others.

Storyline of drama serial Munafiq
The story follows the life of a young girl who comes from a middle-class family. She is a teacher and is very upstanding and full of promise. Her father and older brother work in a factory owned by a young business typhoon. He doesn’t care for his workers at all and is the exact opposite of this young girl being played by Fatima Effendi. As the show progresses, we see that in an accident, The girl’s father and brother are severely hurt and both die leaving Fatima’s character as the sole earner of her family. She demands justice for the negligence of the employer because of which her family is suffering. The employer asks her to settle for money but she doesn’t want it. She wants the crime to be punished.

Our Verdict
Overall the drama is really fast-paced and it is quite interesting to watch. It is not like your everyday soap. In the first few episodes that have been aired the characters are well introduced and the direction is up to the par. The makers have done a great job portraying the characters of the businessman and his mother as MUNAFIQ’S.
