CAN ANYONE EVER ABANDON LOVE? – NOOR- E- ZINDAGI
With love and absolute kindness anyone can conquer a stubborn heart, and this is beautifully proved in Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi’s upcoming drama serial, Noor-e-Zindagi. The drama features Noor Jahan, a kind- hearted and educated home-maker girl, who marries Saleem, a grocery shop owner and primary pass, because of his father’s early death. Saleem is a dominating man who has been under the influence of his friends, who always directed him on the wrong path.
Thus, manipulating his mind so much that he doesn’t believe in women’s respect and equality and even stops his brother to finish his education. Because of his short temper and aloof personality everyone in the family is scared of him and always stays on their toes to fulfill all his requirements.
After his marriage with Noor Jahan, things started to change and a positive atmosphere is established in his family due to Noor Jahan’s kindness and ability to handle every situation with care, which Saleem never accepts or appreciate. A little that he admires about his wife goes away when his friends tell him that it is wrong of him to be influenced by a woman. Therefore Saleem always treat his wife in an ill-mannered way to keep her on low grounds in the family.
Directed by Siraj-ul-Haq and written by Sarwat Nazeer, the drama showcases Noor Jahan’s journey of years of struggle and sacrifices.
