[Karachi: 26th April, 2016] With Ahmed Ali Butt hosting the ARY Film Awards 2016 and HUM Awards, he has also been awarded with the Viewer’s Choice Category award for Best Performance in Comic Role for Jawani Phir Nahi Ani in ARY Film Awards and Best Actor in Comic Role for Mr. Shamim at the Hum Awards.
Ahmed Ali Butt had debuted his first movie with Jawani Phir Nahi Ani along with other actors like Sarwat Gillani, Ayesha Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humayun Saeed and many more. While Mr. Shamim is a 2014 Pakistani sitcom drama of Hum TV, popular in Pakistan and abroad too where Ahmed Ali Butt was staring along with Saboor Ali.
Ahmed Ali Butt has always excelled in his talent in comic roles and he has also performed at AFA16 mimicking Taher Shah, he shares, “I am honored that the viewers appreciated my work and I am truly grateful on receiving awards from ARY and HUM TV. Ahmad Ali Butt is a Pakistani rapper, film, television and voice actor and rock music keyboardist. He started theatre in 1996 with Nasir Khan (Bachana’s director) “Arsenic and old lace” and started his own theater production with Tarzan 1998, Aladin 1999 and Maula Jutt 1999. Ahmed did the first performing arts festival for inter college “Xtravangeza” 2000 / 2002. He has also worked on Television as a producer for sitcom Rubber Band on ARY, Bhatti Ke Bus Ho Gai and Khabardar both which were aired on ARY.
