In a viral video, social media influencer and actress Apoorva Mukhija, also known as The Rebel Kid, is seen causing a scene at Sabrina Carpenter’s concert in Paris. The incident unfolds amid ongoing controversy surrounding Mukhija’s involvement in Samay Raina’s YouTube show India’s Got Latent, which has reportedly led to multiple FIRs related to obscenity charges.
The video, widely shared on social media, shows Apoorva recording herself, lip-syncing, and dancing with fellow concertgoers. According to the video’s caption, security staff asked her to return to her assigned seat, but she ignored the request and continued to use her phone.
The footage allegedly captures her expressing frustration, saying, “Main thappad maar doongi usko (I will slap them).” The incident has sparked a lot of attention online, with some labeling her behavior as disruptive.
One Reddit post described the incident as “Apoorva spotted causing trouble at Sabrina Carpenter’s concert in Paris,” noting that other attendees had to ask her to lower her voice and stop using flash photography. In the video, someone claims Apoorva nearly struck another individual, prompting security to intervene and ask her to return to her seat as she moved around the venue.
Earlier this month, Apoorva reportedly appeared before the National Commission for Women (NCW) regarding offensive remarks made on Samay Raina’s YouTube show. The NCW took strong action after vulgar comments from several participants, including Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, Jaspreet Singh, and Ashish Chanchlani, which led to the show’s removal from the internet. Apoorva’s Instagram following also reportedly plummeted after the incident.
On the professional front, Apoorva Mukhija recently starred in the 2023 television series Who’s Your Gynac? and is currently appearing in the mini-series Baat Pakki as the character Gunjan. She also made her film debut in Nadaaniyan, where she played Rhea alongside Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor.
