Pakistan’s Javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem bags a gold medal in Commonwealth Games

Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem made the nation proud as he claimed gold medal in the javelin throw event of the Commonwealth Games with a monstrous throw of 90.18m in Birmingham on Sunday.

Arshad Nadeem, IOC Scholarship holder, made a history by throwing Javelin beyond 90 m. Breaking records he has won 2nd Gold Medal for Pakistan.

Arshad Nadeem, aged 24 , hails from a village in Khanewal made it to the finals of Men’s javelin throw in Tokyo Olympics 2021, where he unfortunately couldn’t repeat his personal best of 86.29 m which would have grabbed him third position and a bronze medal. He stood fifth amongst the best of the world.
