Badshah Begum Last Episode: An Unpredictable Climax

The much liked HUMTV drama serial Badshah Begum comes to a close. The Most realistic ending you have had ever witnessed. It was fresh to see such unpredictable ending, Not every story has a happy ending. Generally people don’t like forced happy transformational ending where evil characters are suddenly become good and despite the fact that whatever they do they’re forgiven.

First Pakistani drama that made the record to murder entire star cast except the 2 main characters.

Here is the last episode of Badshah Begum:-

People are disappointed with the ending because we are just used to sudden changes and happy endings in dramas. This had a very vivid meaning to it. The people in our societies that are making efforts to bring a change do not survive long. They are eventually held down by our backward society. But the ones that remain loyal to the deeply rooted, uneducated, discriminated means of lifestyle will remain in the end. Illiteracy repels improvement.

For all those who are saying that this drama was without any purpose/lesson, here it is necessary to understand that this drama is based on real historical events and this tradition of Badshah Begum continued for a long time in history. As it is almost impossible to cover an entire period of history, so most of the historical dramas are like this and the writer leaves it to the viewer to learn the lesson/get morals.

The Acting

Brilliant acting of Zara Noor Abbas as (Badshah Begum) and wonderful acting by Farhan Saeed, all in all was a treat to watch and the Pakistani drama fans loved every bit of it.

Storyline

Produced by Rafay Rashdi and MD Productions for HUM TV, Badshah Begum is not your regular run-of-the-mill and conventional mainstream stories. When undesired circumstances force his city-born and raised children Jahan Ara, Roshan and Shahmir to their hometown, they find themselves tangled in powerplay and politics that they never wished to be a part of. What follows in an epic tale of dynastic politics, sibling rivalry and anarchy.

Written by Saji Gul, directed by Khizer Idress, Badshah Begum boasts a stellar cast comprising the industry’s finest Zara Noor Abbas, Farhan Saeed, Ali Rehman, Yasir Hussain, Abul Hassan, Komal Mir, Hiba Aziz, Tanya Hussain, Hamza Sohail, Shahzad Nawaz, Saman Ansari and others.

I didn’t like the ending. Because this is also reality that all the people who are doing good will not end up like this. This is fictional .I think writer is a great admirer of peeri muridi.May be he hates everyone who opposes peeri muridi. They should have ended it properly. It showed that all the characters except for Shahzeb was stupid and very easily they were killed. Previous episodes they had so much of power and last episode they become weaker than baby.I think they wanted to show Aurengzeb time but even in that it didn’t happen like that. They should have created some better drama.Watching it was total wastage of time.
