With the 18th episode of Pyar Ke Sadqay, we can’t help but acknowledge how tremendously well the story is keeping us hooked on Thursdays. The episode starts with a scene where Sarwar (Omair Rana) catches Abdullah (Bilal Abbas khan) off guard. The evil stepdad senses vulnerability and doesn’t miss the opportunity to pry.
A rather confused Abdullah ends up telling Sarwar all about his issues with his wife Mahjabeen (YumnaZaidi). Sarwar being the manipulative human being that he is, tries to play good cop and gives the I-told-you attitude to Abdullah. It looks like he is not so far from achieving his evil motives as Abdullah is half persuaded by the things Sarwar has been putting in his ears against Mahjabeen.
Bilal Abbas Khan, who started as a boy next door, has climbed unprecedented heights as a performer and never fails to surprise the audience with his one-of-a-kind choice of roles. His screen presence is so convincing that no wonder he is being referred to as the next big thing.
Shanzay’s (Yashma Gill) comeback in Abdullah’s life is not helping anything, though. Sarwar seems to be taking full advantage of it and doesn’t miss a chance to provoke Abdullah’s feelings for her.
As the episode continues, it becomes clear that Shanzay wants Abdullah back in his life as she files for divorce from her husband. On the other hand, Mahjabeen is trying to get closer to Abdullah, but her immature attitude is driving him further away. All the odds are against their relationship. We can’t blame the poor boy for being the victim of his cunning step father’s evil intentions, for Shanzay trying to woo him and his wife, embarrassing him all the time.
The acting powerhouse that Khan is on the tv screens has already blown us away. And these good looks are just a bonus not everyone is blessed with. It’s safe to say that the actor will continue to shine bright, and he sure is in the business for the long haul.
