Who is Sehar Gul Khan?
Sehar Gul Khan, an emerging artist from Charsadda, has become a viral sensation within a very short span of time. Fascinated by music as a young girl, despite the odds of a girl pursuing a career in ‘entertainment’, it didn’t take too much convincing before Sehar won her father’s support and started pursuing a career in singing. Trained in modern folk, Sehar is inspired by the great Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab’s qawwali. Sehar spent a large part of her childhood on the road with her father listening to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Sehar Gul Khan Career
Introduced in 2018 during the Lahore Music Meet by renowned lyricist Asim Raza, Sehar enthralled the audience with her original song Dil Be Sabra. Becoming an overnight sensation upon singing the famous OST Bol Kaffara Kya Hoga for a Pakistani drama, Sehar rides the waves of success with the charm of someone born to be a star.
She has since been asked to appear on multiple television shows and vocalize tracks for many Pakistani TV series. Sehar was also seen making her debut on Coke Studio.
