A legend gone too early. Bollywood Actor Irrfan Khan passes away at the age of 53, just a few days after his mother passed away. He was rushed to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital yesterday due to breathing issues. The actor was suffering from neuroendocrine tumour.
Earlier, his spokesperson confirmed that: The 53-year-old actor has was admitted due to a colon infection.
“Yes it is true that Irrfan Khan is admitted to ICU at Kokilaben in Mumbai because of a colon infection. We would keep everyone updated. He is under doctor’s observation. His strength and courage have helped him battle and fight so far and we are sure with his tremendous willpower and prayers of all his well wishers, he will recover soon,” said the spokesperson.
Indeed a very sad news for his fans across the world. Bollywood lost a true gem, he will always be remembered as one of the finest actors in Indian Cinema.
From Bollywood to Hollywood, he will be remembered for his trademark style, those wide-eyed expressions, effortlessly going from role to role.
