Mr. Syed Aminullah Hussaini, the brain behind the idea of the match was present with his partner of AJ sports, Mr. Jamal. After the dinner a cricket bat and ball were passed around for all the celebrities to sign. Speaking on the occasion Hussaini said “I encourage everyone to mark 27th October on their calendar and make it a point to witness this memorable match. It is not every day that one gets to see their favourite celebrities on the field, playing against veteran players. Last year saw Humayun Saeed, Fahad Mustafa, Tipu Sharif, Danish Taimoor, Sheheryar Munawar, and many more, playing amazingly, and this year too we have a formidable line-up.”

It may be noted that Legends’ Cup was initiated last year and plans to be an annual event in Pakistan’s sports calendar. This year it has become part of Ronaq-e-Karachi celebrations scheduled to take place in the city throughout the year.
