[Karachi: February 16, 2016]: Special Olympics Pakistan is hosting its First Unified Marathon in Karachi on Feb, 21 with more than 3000 participants expected to run for a cause. Collectibles Pakistan has joined hands with SOP to be the official time keeper for the event. This Marathon is open to people of all ages, gender and abilities. People may choose to walk/run or complete the marathon on a wheelchair. The marathon will take place at Nueplex / DHA Sports Club – Moin Khan Academy, Karachi.
Special Olympics Pakistan envisions a healthy and inclusive world. With this marathon it hopes to create awareness about people with disabilities and open up avenues for inclusion by making people run together despite their differences.
