Damsa explores the topic of child trafficking. The show is penned by Asma Nabeel and directed by Najaf Bilgrami. It is produced by Shazia Wajahat. According to the makers Damsa is based on many true stories and is a small effort to raise awareness about this subject as it is happening everywhere,
The first trailer reveals a slight glimpse into what we can expect and we are excited. It shows a mother and a daughter who are very close to each other. The daughter is abducted and the mother is heartbroken, to say the least. She is trying to find her. We also witness some emotional scenes of the child facing many difficulties at the hand of her kidnappers.
Since the news of the show hitting the screens has been out Nadia Jamil has been very vocal and she pushes for a prime time spot for her drama as it covers a very important social issue. We are super pumped for this amazing upcoming show. It will be interesting to see how the makers dish out this very serious storyline in a way that appeals to the audience.
