Shah Rukh Khan might do a cameo in Nagesh Kukonoor’s “Dhanak”
Karachi June 2, 2016: Dhanak – The beautiful story of a brother and a sister trying to meet superstar Shah Rukh Khan has touched the hearts of Bollywood celebs, who watched the flick at a special screening held recently. The Nagesh Kukunoor directorial has already garnered appreciation at the Berlin Film Festival.
The trailer of “Dhanak” has already created the much needed buzz and has impressed the audiences on both sides of the border who are eagerly awaiting its release. The trailer showed a girl named Pari (played by Hetal Gadda), who is a big fan of SRK, and her visually impaired brother named Chotu (Krrish Chhabria). Pari promises Chotu that she will bring his eyesight back before he turns nine, and the girl believes that only Shah Rukh can help her succeed in her mission.
Thus, the two siblings set off on a journey across the vibrant Rajasthan desert to meet Shah Rukh, who is shooting in the state. Along the way, Pari and Chotu come across a bunch of interesting characters.
The film will be release on June 17 under the banner of HUM Films in Pakistan. Special screenings for celebrities has already begun in India.
