Exchange rate of Pak Rupee weakened by Rs 1.37 against the US Dollar in the interbank trading on Wednesday and closed at Rs 190.02 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 188.65.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 189 and Rs 191.5 respectively.
The price of Euro was appreciated by Rs 1.43 and closed at Rs 200.81 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 199.38.
The Japanese Yen gained two paisas to close at Rs 1.46, whereas an increase of Rs 2.39 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 234.86 as compared to its last closing of Rs 232.47.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 35 paisas to close at Rs 51.71 and Rs50.65 respectively.
