Exchange rate of the Pakistan rupee depreciated by Rs 1.15 against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Friday and closed at Rs 210.95 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 209.80.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollars in the open market were recorded at Rs 209 and Rs 211.50 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the euro was increased by 97 paisas and closed at Rs 211.57 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 210.60.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs1.51, whereas an increase of 58 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs 249.64 as compared to its last closing of Rs 249.06.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 31 paisas to close at Rs 57.43 and Rs 56.19 respectively.
