Dollar rates 19th Nov 2021: The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee weakened by 57 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Friday and closed at Rs175.23 as compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs174.66.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollars in the open market were recorded at Rs 175.5 and Rs 177 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the euro was appreciated by 47 paisas and closed at Rs 198.35 against the last day’s trading of Rs 197.92, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen gained two paisas to close at Rs 1.53, whereas a decrease of 11 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs 235.59 as compared to its last closing of Rs 235.70.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 15 paisas each to close at Rs 47.70 and Rs 46.71 respectively.
