Exchange rate of Pak Rupee weakened by Rs 1.49 against the US Dollar in the interbank trading on Wednesday and closed at Rs185.92 against the previous day’s closing of Rs184.43.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs183.6 and Rs185.3 respectively.
The price of Euro also appreciated by Rs 2.22 and closed at Rs 201.11 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 198.89.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.44, whereas an increase of Rs 2.06 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 241.97 as compared to its last closing of Rs 239.91.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 40 paisas to close at Rs 50.61and Rs 49.57respectively.
