Dollar rates 8th Dec 2021: The Pakistani rupee weakened by 64 paisas, against the US dollar in the inter-bank trading on Wednesday and closed at Rs 177.42 as compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 176.78.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollars in the open market were recorded at Rs 177.75 and Rs 179.25 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the Euro was appreciated by 65 paisas and closed at Rs 200.23 against the last day’s trading of Rs 199.58, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen gained one paisa to close at Rs 1.56, whereas an increase of 06 pasias was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs 234.92 as compared to its last closing of Rs 234.86.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 17 paisas each to close at Rs 48.30 and Rs 47.29 respectively.
