Saboor Aly, Affan Waheed and Saheefa Jabbar Khattak are currently starring together in drama serial ‘Bhool’ that has been on air for some time now and it has held the audience in its grip. Eighteen episodes down, Bhool has captured the attention of its viewers mainly because of the performance of the lead characters, particularly that of Saboor Aly.
Drama Serial Bhool began as a typical love story of a boy and girl who love each other, but because of their class difference, they fear that society and their families would not let them unite. Aiman, played by Saheefa Jabbar Khattak and Awais, played by the talented Affan Waheed elope to secretly get married to each other, but get divorced later, on the insistence of Awais’ mother. Aiman in a state of shock and with nowhere to go, returns back to her family home, where she gives birth to Awais’ daughter, Ayesha.

Flash forward to many years later, the story continues to show the struggles both mother and daughter have to bear as a consequence of one mistake. Aiman’s daughter Ayesha, played by the beautiful Saboor Aly, starts going to university, where she meets a guy who has fallen in love with her. Ayesha, however, is skeptical about the existence of love, and is reluctant to start any relationship, keeping in mind her mother’s past experiences.
The story has a lot to offer in terms of understanding the psychological and emotional struggle that Ayesha, as a daughter, goes through. It has been paced really well, while Saboor Aly has done complete justice to Ayesha’s character.
What’s most notable is the versatility we can see in Saboor Aly’s expressions that easily portray the kind of emotional turmoil Ayesha is going through – whether it is the scene in which she finds out the truth about her father, when Imran confesses his love for her, when she goes to meet her father at a restaurant, or when she talks to her mother about her struggles – her performance has been brilliant throughout.
Looking forward to seeing more of what happens to Ayesha in the coming episodes of ‘Bhool’.
