Celebrating the vibrant cultural tapestry and musical brilliance of Pakistan, EQUAL Pakistan proudly introduces its November and December ambassadors, Hareem Rashid and Maher Anjum. These incredible artists, recognized for their outstanding contributions to the music industry, have earned a spotlight on a digital billboard in Times Square, New York, as part of the EQUAL Pakistan initiative.
For December 2023, we shine the spotlight on Maher Anjum, a Pakistani pop sensation whose music beautifully fuses traditional Pakistani and Indian instruments with contemporary pop vibes. Maher’s catchy and heartfelt melodies, including hits like “Kahani Suno Zabani Suno,” “Ishqiya,” and “Ja Tujhe Maaf Kiya,” have captivated audiences worldwide. Her enchanting track, “Kya Hoti Hai Bewafai 2.0,” is featured on the EQUAL Pakistan playlist this month.
Expressing her pride, Maher shares, “Being Spotify’s EQUAL Pakistan ambassador is an immense honor for me. Hareem’s track “Pathar Dil” was featured on the EQUAL Pakistan playlist in November, marking her induction into the program.
