PTV to telecast new episodes of Ertugrul daily at 7:45 pm during ramazan

Pakistan Tehreek Insaf leader Senator Faisal Javed Khan on Saturday said Pakistan Television (PTV) would telecast new episodes of Ertugrul series daily at 7:45 pm throughout the holy month of ramazan.

In a series of tweets, he said Ertugrul series was a great exhibition of culture and Islamic faith – an amazing journey through the phenomenal Turkish history.

Senator Faisal Javed said that another great news would be coming soon as a Pakistani production would be dubbed in Turkish and aired in Turkey as part of bilateral exchange of knowledge, ideas, talent and content between Pakistani and Turkish entertainment industries.

Ertugrul is based on the life of Muslim warrior Ertugrul Ghazi, the father of Osman I who founded the Ottoman Empire. It was first aired in Turkey in 2014, and was later introduced to the international audience via Netflix. It has also been dubbed in different languages across the world.

Getting the viewers hooked to it the show has become widely popular with Pakistani audience too after it began airing in April 2020. Within the first 15 days, the official YouTube channel had crossed one million subscribers.
