Some Pakistani men feel betrayed and take social media by a storm saying Turkish star Esra Bilgiç’s Victoria Secret ad is revealing “too much skin”.
We really need to learn not to tell others how to live their lives? Isn’t it?
Esra Bilgic’s Victoria Secret Ad
Social media says Pakistani men feel “cheated” over Esra Bilgiç, Halime Sultan in Diliris Ertuğrul, showing ‘too much skin’ in Victoria’s Secret ad.
In a nutshell, there are a lot of things Pakistani men seem to dislike online but on the top of the list is a woman wearing what she wants.
The recent target is Turkish star Esra Bilgic who posted a shoot she did for lingerie brand Victoria Secret. Men took it to the comment section of Esra’s Social media post to voice their views.
Feeling cheated over the Turkish star’s choice of clothes, a user commented, “Shame on you! After Halima’s character, you should be ashamed of this type of dress.”
Pakistani social media users have been a fan of Esra Bilgic after her roaring success of Diliris Ertugrul where she played the lead character Halima Sultan.
This is not the first time she has been facing moral policing from Pakistani fans over her choice of dressing.
The decision to play Halime Sultan in Diliris Ertugrul is becoming quite a pain for Turkish star Esra Bilgiç. While the historical drama gained great popularity in Pakistan, the local fans of the show repeatedly criticise the actors for living their lives outside of their characters.
Live and let live people.
