Exchange rates 14th Oct 2021: The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee against US dollar depreciated by 07 paisas in the interbank trading on Thursday to close at Rs 171.19 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 171.12.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 171.5 and Rs 172.5 respectively.
Similarly, the price of euro which was traded at Rs 198.71, appreciated by Rs 1.02 as compared to its last closing of Rs197.69, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen gained one paisa is closed at Rs 1.51, whereas an increase of Rs 1.41 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 234.51 as compared to its last closing of Rs 233.10.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 02 paisas each to close at Rs 46.60 and Rs 45.64 respectively.
