Exchange rates 17th March 2022: Pakistan rupee weakened by 64 paisas against the the United States dollar in the interbank trading on Thursday and closed at Rs180.07 against the previous day’s closing of Rs179.43.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs179.8 and Rs181.2 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the euro was appreciated by Rs 2.34 and closed at Rs198.98 against the previous day’s closing of Rs196.64.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs1.51, whereas an increase of Rs 3.30 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs237.28 as compared to its last closing of Rs233.98.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 17 paisas to close at Rs49.02 and Rs47.99 respectively.
