Exchange Rates 17th Sept 2021: The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee depreciated by 02 paisas on Friday against the US dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs168.19 as compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs168.17.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs167.8 and Rs169.3 respectively.
The price of euro was appreciated by 05 paisas and closed at Rs198.08 against the last day’s trading of Rs198.03, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen lost one paisa to close at Rs1.52, whereas an increase of 18 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 232.18 as compared to its last closing of Rs 232.36.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal remained stable and closed at Rs 45.78 and Rs 44.84 respectively.
