Exchange rates 18th March 2022: Exchange rate of the Pakistan rupee weakened by 50 paisas against the the United States dollar in the interbank trading on Friday and closed at Rs180.57 against the previous day’s closing of Rs180.07.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs180 and Rs181.5 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the euro was appreciated by 80 paisas and closed at Rs199.78 against the previous day’s closing of Rs198.98.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs1.51, whereas a decrease of 09 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs237.19 as compared to its last closing of Rs237.28.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 14 paisas to close at Rs49.16 and Rs48.13 respectively.
