Exchange rates 18th Nov 2021: The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee weakened by 91 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Thursday and closed at Rs174.66 as compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs173.75.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollars in the open market were recorded at Rs 173.5 and Rs 175.2 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the euro was appreciated by Rs 1.30 and closed at Rs 197.92 against the last day’s trading of Rs 196.62, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen gained one paisa to close at Rs 1.51, whereas an increase of Rs 1.93 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs 235.70 as compared to its last closing of Rs 233.77.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 24 paisas each to close at Rs 47.55 and Rs 46.56 respectively.
