Exchange rates 20th September 2021: The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee depreciated by 53 paisas on Monday against the US dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs168.72 as compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs168.19.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs169 and Rs170 respectively.
The price of euro was depreciated by 52 paisas and closed at Rs197.56 against the last day’s trading of Rs198.08, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen gained one paisa to close at Rs1.53, wherea an increase of Rs 1.47 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 230.71 as compared to its last closing of Rs 232.18.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 15 paisas and closed at Rs 45.93 and Rs 44.99 respectively.
