Exchange rates 21st Sept 2021: The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee appreciated by 20 paisas on Tuesday against the US dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs168.52 as compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs168.72.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs169.5 and Rs170.4 respectively.
The price of euro was increased by 22 paisas and closed at Rs197.78 against the last day’s trading of Rs197.56, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs1.53, whereas a decrease of 02 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 230.69 as compared to its last closing of Rs 230.71.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 06 paisas and closed at Rs 45.87 and Rs 44.93 respectively.
