Exchange rates 22nd Dec 2021: The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee weakened by 10 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Wednesday and closed at Rs178.14 as compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs178.04.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollars in the open market were recorded at Rs178.6 and Rs180.4 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the euro was depreciated by 49 paisas and closed at Rs200.74 against the last day’s trading of Rs201.23, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs1.56, whereas an increase of 55 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs236.28 as compared to its last closing of Rs235.73.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal declined by 03 paisas to close at Rs48.50 and Rs47.45 respectively.
