Exchange rates 25th Feb 2022: Exchange rate of Pakistani rupee weakened by 72 paisas against the United States dollar in the interbank trading on Friday and closed at Rs 177.11 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 176.39.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of US dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 177.5 and Rs 179 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the euro was appreciated by 22 paisas and closed at Rs 198.58 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 198.36.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.53, whereas an increase of 22 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 237.64 as compared to its last closing of Rs 237.42.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 19 paisas to close at Rs 48.21 and Rs 47.20 respectively.
