Exchange rates 26th Jan 2022: The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee weakened by 26 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Wednesday and closed at Rs 176.98 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 176.72.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market recorded at Rs 178 and Rs 179.5 respectively.
Similarly, the price of euro edged up by 02 paisas and closed at Rs 199.82 against the previous day’s closing at Rs 199.80.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.55, whereas an increase of 70 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 239.00 as compared to its last closing at Rs 238.30.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 07 paisas to close at Rs 48.18 and Rs 47.18 respectively.
