Exchange rates 28th Oct 2021: The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee against US dollar strengthened by 52 paisas in the interbank trading on Thursday to close at Rs172.26 against the previous day’s closing of Rs172.78.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates of dollar in open market were recorded at Rs171.6 and Rs 173.6 respectively.
Likewise, the price of euro which was traded at Rs 199.97, depreciated by 58 paisas as compared to its last closing of Rs 200.55, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.51, whereas a decrease of 74 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 236.99 as compared to its last closing of Rs 237.74.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 14 paisas each to close at Rs 46.79 and Rs 45.92 respectively.
