Exchange rates 9th Feb 2022: Exchange rate of the Pakistan rupee on Wednesday weakened by 38 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs174.88 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 174.50.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of US dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 174.9 and Rs 176.4 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the euro was appreciated by Rs 0.62 and closed at Rs 199.59 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 198.97.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.51, whereas an increase of 75 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 237.15 as compared to its last closing of Rs 236.40.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 11 paisas to close at Rs 47.61 and Rs 46.61 respectively.
