Exchange rates 9th Nov 2021: The exchange rate of the Pakistan rupee weakened by Rs 1.11 against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Tuesday and closed at Rs171.62 as compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs170.51.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollars in the open market were recorded at Rs173 and Rs 174.5 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the euro was appreciated by Rs 1.58 and closed at Rs 198.87 against the last day’s trading of Rs 197.29, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen gained one paisa to close at Rs 1.51, whereas an increase of Rs 2.93 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs 232.80 as compared to its last closing of Rs229.87.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal increased by 30 paisas each to close at Rs 46.72 and Rs 42.76 respectively.
