The much awaited HBL PSL4 draft event was held in Islamabad on 20th November 2018, where team owners and officials made their picks for the grand slam PSL4 scheduled to kick off from February 14th 2019 in UAE with last 8 matches to be played in Pakistan with the final to be played in Karachi on March 17. On 10th November 2018, PCB terminated franchise agreements with the owner of Multan Sultans, however, the league will continue with six teams, with PCB managing the 6th team until new franchise owners are found.

Six teams will play 10 matches each and will get 2 points for every win, none for a loss and 1 point for a no result. The top four team in the group stage will qualify for the play-offs.
