Former Australia cricketer, coach and commentator Dean Jones has died at the age of 59 following cardiac Arrest in Mumbai. He was last working in Star Select dugout for IPL 2020 as one of the commentators. Dean Jones will always be remembered for his services to not only Australian Cricket but his coaching expertise were well recognized in the world of cricket. Dean Jones, was part of Karachi Kings and Islamabad United in PSL.

Dean Jones Career
Jones began his first-class career in the 1981–82 season with Victoria in the Sheffield Shield. Jones also played for Durham and Derbyshire in the English County Championship. He left Derbyshire in mid-season and also had run-ins with authority and teammates in his home state of Victoria. During his career, he scored 19,188 runs in first-class matches, including 55 centuries and 88 half centuries and a highest score of 324 not out, at an average of 51.85.
Dean Jones played 52 Tests and 164 ODIs for Australia during an international career which spanned 8 years between 1984 and 1992. He scored 3631 runs in red-ball cricket at an average of 46.55 with 11 hundreds and 14 half-centuries. In one-day internationals he amassed 6068 runs at 44.61 with 7 hundreds and 46 fifties.
Dean Jones was famous for his attacking batting style as a top-order batsman in one-day internationals. Jones played 245 first-class matches in which he amassed a total of 19,188 runs at an average of 51.85 with 55 centuries and 88 half-centuries.
