Gold rates today 5th July 2024

In a significant upward trend, the price of 24 karat gold surged by Rs.1,100, reaching a new high of Rs.244,400 per tola on Friday, compared to Rs.243,300 on the previous trading day. This increase was reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

The rise was also reflected in the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold, which saw an increase of Rs.944, bringing the price up to Rs.209,534 from Rs.208,590. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also experienced an uptick, reaching Rs.192,072 from the previous Rs.191,207.

Despite the fluctuations in gold prices, the price of silver remained stable. The cost of per tola and 10 grams of silver stood unchanged at Rs.2,850 and Rs.2,443.41, respectively.

On the international front, gold prices saw an increase of $9, with the price rising from $2,335 to $2,364. This global surge has been one of the contributing factors to the local market’s rise.

The ongoing fluctuations in gold prices have a significant impact on the local market, influencing both investors and consumers. With the international market showing signs of increasing gold prices, local markets are expected to follow suit, continuing the trend of rising prices.
