On Wednesday, the per tola price of 24 karat gold saw a reduction of Rs.2,000, settling at Rs.215,300, a notable drop from its previous value of Rs.217,300 during the last trading day.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold experienced a decrease of Rs.1,715, now priced at Rs.184,585 as opposed to Rs.186,300. In the case of 10 grams of 22 karat gold, the prices dropped to Rs.169,203 from Rs.170,775, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
The per tola silver price also witnessed a decline, dropping by Rs.50 to Rs.2,600. Additionally, the price of ten grams of silver decreased by Rs.42.86, now standing at Rs.2,229.08.
Internationally, the price of gold faced a downturn as well, decreasing by $22 to $2,045 from $2,067, according to the Association’s report.
