The price of 24 karat gold experienced a notable decline on Thursday, with a decrease of Rs. 1,200 per tola, bringing the price down to Rs. 240,700 from the previous Rs. 241,900 on the last trading day. Gold prices drop was reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold saw a reduction of Rs. 1,029, dropping to Rs. 206,361 from Rs. 207,390. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold decreased to Rs. 189,165 from Rs. 190,108.
Despite the fluctuations in gold prices, the prices of silver remained unchanged. Per tola of silver stayed at Rs. 2,750, and 10 grams of silver held steady at Rs. 2,357.68.
Contrary to the domestic market trend, the price of gold in the international market saw a slight increase of $2, rising to $2,315 from $2,313.
