On Wednesday, the cost of 24 karat gold per tola saw a rise of Rs 900, reaching a selling price of Rs 218,500 as compared to Rs 217,600 on the previous trading day.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 771, reaching Rs 187,328 from its previous rate of Rs 186,557. Meanwhile, the rates for 10 grams of 22 karat gold climbed to Rs 171,718 from Rs 171,011, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
In contrast, the price of silver per tola experienced a decrease of Rs 20, settling at Rs 2,650, while the cost of ten grams of silver dropped by Rs 17.15 to Rs 2,271.94.
Internationally, the price of gold saw a $13 increase, reaching $2,060 from its previous rate of $2,047, as reported by the Association. These fluctuations in precious metal prices indicate the dynamic nature of the market.
