The gold market witnessed a significant surge in prices on 24th July 2024. According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of per tola of 24 karat gold increased by Rs. 2,300, selling at Rs. 252,800. This marks a rise from the previous trading day’s price of Rs. 250,500.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold saw an increase of Rs. 1,972, reaching Rs. 216,735, up from Rs. 214,763. For 10 grams of 22 karat gold, the price rose to Rs. 198,674 from Rs. 196,866.
Silver Prices Steady
In contrast to the rising gold prices, the price of silver remained stable. The rate for per tola and ten grams of silver held steady at Rs. 2,920 and Rs. 2,503.42, respectively.
International Market Trends
The increase in gold prices was not limited to the domestic market. The international gold market also experienced a rise, with the price of gold climbing by $22. The price per ounce of gold went up to $2,413 from the previous day’s $2,391.
