In the latest market update, gold rates experienced a notable increase, with a rise of Rs.1,800, bringing the per tola price to Rs.219,800. However, the 24 karat gold witnessed a decrease in its per tola price by Rs.1,800, selling at Rs.219,800 on Friday compared to its last trading day price of Rs.218,000.
For 10 grams of 24 karat gold, the price saw an uptick by Rs.1,543, reaching Rs.188,443 from Rs.186,900. Conversely, the prices for 10 grams of 22 karat gold decreased to Rs.172,740 from Rs.171,325, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
Interestingly, the per tola and ten-gram silver prices remained unchanged, holding steady at Rs.2,650 and Rs.2,271.94, respectively.
On the global front, the price of gold experienced a $19 increase, reaching $2,074 from $2,055, according to the latest data from the Association.
