On July 19, 2024, the gold market experienced a notable decline in prices. According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 24 karat gold per tola fell by Rs.3,000, settling at Rs.251,000. This decrease comes from a previous rate of Rs.254,000 on the last trading day.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold saw a reduction of Rs.2,572, bringing it down to Rs.215,192 from Rs.217,764. The cost for 10 grams of 22 karat gold also decreased, now standing at Rs.197,259, a drop from Rs.199,617.
Silver prices also witnessed a decrease. The price of per tola silver fell by Rs.50 to Rs.2,850, while 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs.42.87, bringing the new price to Rs.2,443.41.
In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $55, now priced at $2,415 compared to $2,470 previously.
