The gold market experienced a dip today, with prices falling across various categories. The per tola price of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 400, bringing the new rate to Rs 240,600 compared to Rs 241,000 on the last trading day. This decline reflects a noticeable shift in the market dynamics.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold saw a reduction, dropping by Rs 343 to Rs 206,276 from the previous Rs 206,619. Conversely, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold experienced a slight increase, rising to Rs 189,086 from Rs 189,400, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
In addition to gold, silver prices also saw a decrease. The price per tola of silver fell by Rs 20, now standing at Rs 2,800. The price for ten grams of silver decreased by Rs 17.1, bringing it to Rs 2,400.54.
On the international front, gold prices experienced a marginal drop. The price decreased by $4, settling at $2,332 from the previous $2,336, as reported by the Association.
