On June 6, 2024, the gold market experienced a notable increase in prices. The All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported that the per tola price of 24 karat gold surged by Rs 2,400, bringing the new price to Rs 243,000 compared to Rs 240,600 on the previous trading day.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold saw an increase of Rs 2,057, moving up from Rs 206,276 to Rs 208,333. For 22 karat gold, the price per 10 grams rose to Rs 190,972 from Rs 189,086.
In contrast, the prices for silver remained unchanged. The price per tola of silver stood steady at Rs 2,800, and the price for 10 grams of silver remained at Rs 2,400.54.
The gold market also saw a rise in international prices, with the price per ounce of gold increasing by $30. The new international price is $2,362, up from $2,332.
