On Wednesday, the per tola price of 24 karat gold saw a decrease of Rs 800, selling at Rs 239,200 compared to its last trading day price of Rs 240,000.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also experienced a decline of Rs 686 to Rs 205,075 from Rs 205,761. Similarly, the prices of 10 grams of 22 karat gold dropped to Rs 187,986 from Rs 188,615.
However, there was no change in the price of silver, with the per tola and ten-gram silver holding steady at Rs 2,620 and Rs 2,254.80, respectively.
In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $5 to $2,312 from $2,317, as reported by the Association.
