Yet another Honda Bikes prices in Pakistan increase. With dollar on a rise and depreciating Pakistani currency citing an increase in raw material prices and higher shipping costs, Atlas Honda Limited increases prices of its motorcycles in Pakistan with effect from 1st April 2022.
The sale of motorbikes and three wheelers witnessed an increase of 0.26 percent during the first five months of financial year (2021-22) as compared to the corresponding period of last year.
During the period under review, as many as 795,245 motorbikes and three wheelers were sold in July-November (2021-22) against the sale of 793,755 units in July- November (2020-21), showing growth of 0.26 percent, according to the Pakistan automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA).
The sale of Honda motorcycles went up by 8.08 percent from 836,046 units in last year to 903,659 units during the period under review.
Since the start of 2021, this is the ninth time that the company has hiked the rates. A notification issued by the company said that the new prices will come into effect immediately from Friday, 1st April 2022.
The company rang in 2021 and 2022 with bike prices being inflated with no looking back. The price hikes were seen in February, May, July, August, September, October, November 2021, March 2022 and now in April 2022.
