Despite Pakistani currency showing improved numbers against the dollar here comes yet another price hike by Atlas Honda Limited with immediate effect. If we keep previous months in mind we can assume that with dollar constant on a rise and depreciating Pakistani currency citing an increase in raw material prices and higher shipping costs, Atlas Honda Limited has increased prices of its motorcycles in Pakistan with effect from 1st November 2022.
According to the new price list issued by the automobile giant, the price of the most selling unit of Honda CD 70 has increased to Rs. 121,500, after a hike of Rs5,000.
The price of the second most famous bike of the company, Honda CG 125, has been increased by Rs6,000, taking the rate to record Rs185,900.
Honda CD Dream will now cost Rs129,500, as it sees a surge of Rs5,000, and Honda Pridor has been increased by Rs6,000 to reach Rs161,900.
Price of top of the line Honda CBF has been increased to Rs357,900 after an increase of Rs15,000.
The sale of motorbikes and three wheelers in the country has witnessed a decrease of 4.33 percent during the fiscal year (2021-22) as compared to the sale of corresponding period of last year.
Since the start of 2021, this is the 11th time that the company has hiked the rates.
During the period under review, as many as 1821,467 motorbikes and three wheelers were sold in July-June (2021-22) against the sale of 1903,931 units in July-June (2020-21), showing a decline of 4.33 percent, according to the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA).
However, the sale of Honda motorcycles went up by 5.28 percent from 1292,096 units in last year to 1360,403 units during the period under review whereas the sale of Suzuki motorcycles also rose by 52.29 percent from 24,851 units to 37,846 units.

Well Said. It is high time the Government should encourage the manufacturing of Scooties in Pakistan with lenient policies. The gap is currently being filled with Scooties coming in Pakistan thru import channels which are also very high in pricing.
